🌳 Why Possumhall Studios Stands Against Logging Upstream in The Bulga Forest 🌳

At Possumhall ,  we’re incredibly fortunate to call the stunning Bulga Forest our home. However, recently the logging has recomenced near the  river upstream, and we believe this poses a serious threat to our local ecosystem and wildlife community.

The Bulga Forest isn’t just a breathtaking backdrop—it’s a vibrant ecosystem that provides clean water, supports diverse wildlife, and preserves vital carbon storage. Logging upstream threatens to disrupt this delicate balance. Here are our key concerns:

🌱 Water Quality: Logging increases sediment runoff, which can pollute the river, impacting water quality for both wildlife and communities downstream. The river’s health is essential for the ecosystem’s well-being and everyone who relies on it. Especially those platypus.

🦉 Wildlife Habitat: The Bulga Forest is home to countless species, including some that are threatened or endangered. By logging in the Bulga Forest, we’re putting the habitat of these creatures at risk. We believe every species has a right to thrive in its natural habitat.

🌎 Climate Impact: Forests play a crucial role in carbon storage, helping to mitigate climate change. Cutting down trees in these areas would contribute to higher carbon emissions, going against our collective responsibility to protect the planet.

At Possumhall Studios, we’re committed to preserving the beauty and health of The Bulga Forest for future generations. Let’s protect this precious natural resource by voicing our opposition to logging  the BULGA FOREST Together, we can make a difference and ensure the forest remains a thriving, healthy ecosystem for all who rely on it. 💚🌍
