As the cooler weather sets in today, the task at hand is to walk the fenceline on the eastern side, where it joins the Traveling Stock Reserve. The journey begins with a challenging uphill climb of 150 meters, only to discover a stretch of 50 meters where the fence has been destroyed. Pushing forward, the path becomes even tougher as waist-high ferns and loose gravel soil present obstacles. Further ahead, another fallen tree obstructs the fence. It becomes clear that this job is larger than anticipated….
