BULGA FOREST DIARY Tuesday 25th April 2023
The Day is punctuated by the raucous sounds 0f the Yellow tailed Black cockatoo,
They strip branches and bark looking for grubs in all the trees. Hurling down their unwanted bits, the noisy constant grating of a young one is not missed when they move on. The day is a softly sunny 20 degrees, with the promise of more showers tomorow.

Tuesday 11th April 2023.
The tree heath’s (Trochocarpa laurina) new growth has a stained glass glow when the sun touches it. On this overcast morning a honey bee that didn’t make it back to it’s warm hive is still snoozing.

April 3rd 2023 Rainy throughout the day with top of 19 degrees, Autumn is here. the Rough Barked Angophera is heavy with leaf. I love the way they are so human like in their dance with the sky, and other trees. Most of our angopheras here flower only every 3 years.
